Prof. Luca Morelli

Il Dr. Luca Morelli è stato uno dei quattro chirurghi Italiani, ammessi a diventare Fellow dell’American College of Surgeon (FACS) durante la cerimonia di convocazione del congresso clinico annuale del Collegio a San Francisco, in California, nel mese di Ottobre 2014.
Avendo soddisfatto i rigorosi requisiti di adesione del Collegio, i nuovi Fellows hanno acquisito il diritto di utilizzare la denominazione di “FACS” (Fellow American College of Surgeons), prestigioso titolo, dopo i loro nomi.
La cerimonia di convocazione ha rappresentato il punto culminante del congresso di cinque giorni, che inoltre ha consentito di approfondire e confrontarsi sui numerosi temi clinici, di ricerca e formazione, con particolare attenzione alle nuove tecnologie ed al futuro della chirurgia. La partecipazione totale stimata al Congresso è stata di 13.082, di cui circa 8.924 medici.

Dr. Luca Morelli was among Initiates from around the world who became Fellows of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) during the Convocation ceremony at the College’s 2014 annual Clinical Congress in San Francisco, Calif., last month.
By meeting the College’s stringent membership requirements, Fellows of the College have earned the distinguished right to use the designation of “FACS” (Fellow, American College of Surgeons) after their names.
The Convocation ceremony was a highlight of the five-day meeting, which also featured reports on research-in-progress, postgraduate courses, panel discussions, symposia, and scientific and industrial exhibits. Total estimated attendance at the Congress was 13,082, including approximately 8,924 physicians. Allied health professionals and members of the scientific and consumer media also attended the meeting.
